Ceramic Glass

Heat resistant and able to withstand temperatures in excess of 1000°C Ceramic Glass has a low thermal expansion. Although it is commonly referred to as glass, it is in fact a transparent ceramic which can withstand continuous exposure to extreme heat without breakage.  It is also resistant to temperature variables without breakage.  This means it will remain structurally stable when heated to 800°C and then doused or sprinkled with cold water making it suitable for use in peep holes, vertical, horizontal and sloping installations.

Ceramic Glass is also widely used in wood burning stoves.
